These SunDash-specific Terms of Service ("App Terms") supplement our Company Terms of Service. By using SunDash, you agree to both these App Terms and our Company Terms.

1. About SunDash

SunDash is a solar energy monitoring application that displays data from third-party solar monitoring systems. The app provides visualizations, calculations, and analytics based on data retrieved from your connected devices and services.

2. Third-Party Data Sources

SunDash connects to third-party monitoring systems including:

  • eGauge: Energy monitoring hardware and cloud services
  • SolarEdge: Solar inverter monitoring platform
  • Enphase: Microinverter monitoring system

Important Data Disclaimer

SunDash displays data from third-party sources. We do NOT guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of this data.

  • Data accuracy depends entirely on your hardware and third-party services
  • We are not responsible for errors, delays, or outages in third-party systems
  • You are responsible for maintaining your monitoring hardware and accounts
  • Financial calculations are estimates only and should not be used for official reporting

3. Account and Credentials

Credentials are stored securely on your device using iOS Keychain. We do NOT store your third-party credentials on our servers. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and must have authorized access to any monitoring systems you connect.

  • TOU (Time-of-Use) rate calculations

5. Financial Calculations Disclaimer

SunDash provides financial estimates including savings calculations, cost analysis, and ROI projections. These are estimates only:

  • Calculations are based on user-provided rate information
  • Actual utility bills may differ due to taxes, fees, and rate changes
  • TOU calculations depend on accurate rate plan configuration
  • Do NOT rely solely on SunDash for financial decisions
  • Always verify calculations against your actual utility statements

6. Electricity Rate Plans

SunDash includes a database of electricity rate plans. Rate information is provided for convenience only and may be outdated or inaccurate. Always verify rates with your utility provider.

7. Data Storage and Privacy

Please review our SunDash Privacy Policy for details. Key points: energy data is processed locally, we do NOT store your energy data on our servers, diagnostic reports are opt-in only.

8. Device Requirements

  • iOS 17.0 or later required
  • iPhone or iPad
  • Internet connection required for data retrieval
  • Local network access required for local device connections

9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

IN ADDITION TO THE DISCLAIMERS IN OUR COMPANY TERMS:

  • SunDash is NOT a certified energy monitoring device
  • Data displayed should NOT be used for official energy reporting
  • Financial calculations are NOT guaranteed to match utility bills
  • We do NOT warrant compatibility with all solar systems
  • We do NOT warrant accuracy of third-party data

MAXIMUM LIABILITY: Our total liability shall not exceed subscription fees paid in the preceding 12 months, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
