This SunDash-specific Privacy Policy supplements our Company Privacy Policy. It explains how SunDash handles your solar energy data and personal information.

1. Data Collection Overview

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Your solar production or consumption data (processed locally only)
• Your third-party service credentials (stored in iOS Keychain)
• Your location or address
• Your utility account information
• Your electricity bills or payment information

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

• Solar production and consumption data from your monitoring system
• Calculated savings and statistics
• App preferences and settings
• Configured electricity rate plans
• Third-party service credentials (in iOS Keychain)

Data That May Be Sent to Our Servers (Opt-In Only)

• Diagnostic reports (crash logs, debug information) - only if you choose to submit
• Feedback messages you voluntarily send

2. Third-Party Connections

SunDash connects to third-party services to retrieve your energy data:

eGauge

• Connection: Direct to your eGauge device (local network) or eGauge cloud
• Credentials: Stored in iOS Keychain on your device

SolarEdge

• Connection: SolarEdge Monitoring API
• Credentials: API key stored in iOS Keychain

Enphase

• Connection: Enphase Enlighten API
• Credentials: OAuth token stored in iOS Keychain

Important: When you connect to these services, your data flows directly between your device and their servers. MeowScript does not intercept, store, or process this data on our servers.

3. Diagnostic Reports

If you experience issues, you may choose to submit a diagnostic report:

What's Included

• App version and iOS version
• Device model
• Crash logs and error messages
• Debug logs from app operations
• App configuration (without credentials)

What's NOT Included

• Your actual energy data or readings
• Your credentials or API keys
• Your location or address
• Any personally identifying information

How Reports Are Handled

• Submitted via encrypted HTTPS connection
• Stored securely with encryption at rest
• Automatically deleted after 90 days
• Never shared with third parties

5. Data Security

• All network communications use HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Credentials stored in iOS Keychain with hardware encryption
• Local data protected by iOS data protection
• Diagnostic reports encrypted in transit and at rest

6. Your Rights

Data Deletion

Since your data is stored locally: delete the app to remove all local data, clear app data in iOS Settings, or request deletion of any diagnostic reports by emailing us.

Data Access

All your data is accessible within the app. Export features available for your energy data. Contact us to receive any diagnostic reports you've submitted.

7. Children's Privacy

SunDash is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. International Users

SunDash processes data locally on your device. If you submit diagnostic reports, they are processed in the United States.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy. Material changes will be notified through the app.
